American Race - Economy

An American V or U race is used to create a gouge or channel in your leather, usually on the flesh side, to enable you to make folds or angles in thick leather.

It can also double up as a stitching groover.

Care needs to be taken when using on thinner leathers to make sure you don't cut too deeply. It can be sharpened on a strop or file card, so it will last you for years.

Choose from either V or U shaped gouge.
