Are you a passionate leathercraft enthusiast looking to take your skills to the next level? Abbey England is proud to announce the 2025/26 Leathercraft Scholarship — an opportunity designed to support and nurture emerging talent in leatherwork and saddlery.


Application Process

1. Prepare Your Application
Gather details about your experience, your passion for leathercraft, and how receiving this scholarship will help you achieve your future goals.

2. Access the Application Form
Complete the official application form HERE

3. Complete the Form
Fill out all sections carefully, including your personal details, a summary of your leathercraft journey, and your aspirations for the future.

4. Await Selection
All applications will be reviewed by our dedicated panel. The successful applicant will be contacted directly via email with further details.

APPLICANT CRITERIA

Whether you are an apprentice, a trainee or a keen hobbyist, our Abbey England Scholarship is open to anyone who has a passion for leather and learning the craft. Our scholarship is open for entries throughout September and October. 

And if you know friends, family, or colleagues who might be interested in applying, please pass this on — we want to reach as many talented leatherworkers as possible.

WHAT'S ON OFFER ?

The winning submission will receive a £500 Abbey England voucher and an additional £200 expenses voucher to help with travel costs to and from training courses of your choosing. In addition to the funding, our winner will also be guaranteed a place to our Masterclass Workshop on Thursday 27th November 2025 as well as business support, advice and promotion across Abbey England's social media accounts.
