I have been using these girth straps since 1996. In that time I have not had one issue with the quality or consistence and touch wood, we never had a breakage. They polish up well using Abbey's own edge dye. You may think they may work out a little dearer than buying hide and splitting and punching yourself, but when you take in to consideration the time and effort that it takes to do that 1.
