SECURING YOUR EYELETS

Eyelet tools are an essential tool for setting eyelets in fabric and leather garments and accessories. Follow these simple steps to correctly insert your eyelet.


HOW TO USE A CAST MOGUL EYELET TOOL

  • Place the washer over the shaft on the base of the tool.
  • Place the material on top of the washer over the shaft. You material will already have a hole pre punched – see our range of hole punchers here
  • Place the eyelet over the shaft on top of the fabric.
  • Slide the tube over the shaft of the base and gently strike the top of the tube with a mallet until the eyelet is set.
  • We recommend you use a nylon or rawhide mallet to prolong the life of your eyelet tool.
