Pearl glue is a traditional wood glue which can be used for veneering, carpentry, joinery, antique restoration, making musical instruments and many other uses. The water soluble nature of this glue allows joints to be disassembled for repairs, unlike modern glues. This does mean the glue is not especially resistant to damp.

Also used to make edge stain by mixing it with powder dye and water.
