HOW TO APPLY

Are you a passionate leathercraft enthusiast, or do you know someone who is? Abbey England is excited to announce the 2025 Leathercraft Scholarship, an opportunity to support and nurture emerging talent in the field of leatherwork.

Application Process

1. Prepare Your Application:
  • If you're applying for the scholarship yourself, gather any relevant details about your experience, passion for leathercraft, and how this scholarship will help you achieve your goals.
  • If you're nominating someone else, be ready to provide information about the nominee, including why you believe they deserve this scholarship and how it would benefit their craft.


2. Access the Application Form:
  • The application process is conducted through  our Application Form.
  • If you are Applying on your own behalf, apply HERE.
  • If you are Nominating someone, please apply HERE.


3. Complete the Form:
  • Fill out all required sections of the form. This will include personal details, a summary of your (or the nominee’s) leathercraft journey, and your plans for the future.


4. Submit Your Application:
  • Once all sections of the form are completed, review your information for accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Submit the form by sending your form to natalie.morris@abbeyengland.com. You will receive a confirmation email once your application has been successfully submitted.


5. Await Selection:
  • All applications will be carefully reviewed by our selection panel. Successful applicants will be contacted directly via email with further details.

Whether you are an apprentice, a trainee, a keen hobbyist, or a sole trader, our Abbey England Scholarship is open to anyone who has a passion for leather and learning the craft. Our scholarship is open for entries throughout September and October.

WHAT'S ON 

OFFER ?

The winning submission will receive a £500 Abbey England voucher and an additional £200 expenses voucher to help with travel costs to and from training courses of your choosing. In addition to the funding, our winner will also be guaranteed a place to our Masterclass Workshop on Wednesday 4th December 2024, as well as business support, advice and promotion across Abbey England's social media accounts.
