Turn around and back orders
We make every attempt to dispatch orders within 72 hours (Monday – Friday). However, when items are out of stock, there will be a delay. Amendments to orders may also cause a delay in shipping.
Where we elect to ship part orders and place items on back order, there is no delivery charge on the back ordered items. Orders including special finishes will be held until the order is ready to be dispatched as a complete order. When requested, these orders may be dispatched as a part order, but customers will incur a second delivery charge.
Please note, for all international orders, cost of delivery is calculated on weight and size of parcel. For this reason, delivery is calculated once goods have been picked and packed. A second payment for delivery costs will be taken from the card used to pay for the goods. If for any reason, cost of delivery exceeds the value we are allowed to take set by the card company, customers will be contacted and notified.
If we are not able to fulfil your order for any reason your payment card will be refunded.

There are exceptions to these charges. Large items requiring palletised delivery or hazardous items such as 25lt Fabsil drums and Stubbs items are charged at full cost regardless of value.
25kg bails of flock have a standard delivery rate of £16.00.
Timed deliveries including next day 12 noon delivery may not be available for the following postcodes: AB, BT, DD, GY, HS, IM, IV, JE, KW, PA, PH, PO30-PO41, TR21-TR25 and ZE.
Outside the UK
Abbey England deliver to the following areas:
- North and South America
- The Middle East (restrictions may apply. Please check before ordering.)
- Russia (restrictions may apply. Please check before ordering.)
Low value (under GBP £40) international orders will normally be sent by Post (Royal Mail) unless requested otherwise. All other overseas orders will be sent on a tracked courier via DHL, , Parcel Force, FedEx, TNT or UPS. High value orders may be sent on Royal Mail but only when requested. Abbey England does not take any responsibility for lost goods when this method of delivery is requested (Royal Mail). Delivery is calculated on weight and then routed by the least cost method using an appropriate carrier.
Delivery to EU Members
From receiving your order, we aim to dispatch it within 4 working days, Monday – Friday. This is on the basis that all items are in stock. If items are out of stock, our Customer Service Team will contact you with an estimated dispatch date within 10 working days.
If you live in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain or Sweden your delivery charge will be calculated once your order is ready for dispatch. This ensures we get the best possible rate and service that is availability to us at the time of dispatch.
Your shipping charge will be shown on the invoice and a second payment will be taken from the same card used to place your order.
We will be working closely with our carries to ensure Abbey England gets the best carriage rate for all its customers.

EU Taxes & Duties
To export goods to your country, we need your EORI number. Please provide it to us by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) as soon as possible, if you have not done so already.
When placing an order, please provide a mobile number so the carriers can contact you for duties and your own countries VAT/Tax. If duties are not paid, your parcel will be returned to Abbey England at your cost.
Please ensure your mobile number includes the country dial code followed by your mobile number in the following format: 0044123456789. You MUST be available to take a call from the carrier and be in a position to pay the required Duty/VAT/Tax on your shipment to avoid it being returned to us at your cost.
Europe (None EU Members)
Please note, the charges below should only be used as a guidance. Our delivery charge is calculated based on the weight and size of the parcel and therefore prices can fluctuate. Delivery addresses situated in rural addresses may also be considerably more.
